Balizando 2nd July
The documentary shows the involvement of the LGBTQI + community in the 2nd July 2019 Parade, Bahia Independence Day, at times focusing on the balizas’ performances, at times focusing on the audience that’s there to watch those performances. Over 16 years, they gather at the Rosário’s Church region, at Avenida Sete de Setembro, Salvador-BA-BRA, and get thrilled with the baliza’s performances. All of this makes this place be called “The Sassy Territory”. With the special guest Jean Wyllys, Human Rights Ativist, the film has two central characters, Diana Souza and Gabriel Vilasboas.
